What’s in the Diwali box?
Diwali — the Festival of Lights — is the most celebrated holiday in the Indian subcontinent. Families gather, homes are lit with clay lamps called diyas, and sweets and savories are exchanged as gifts and blessings. Our Diwali boxes bring the flavors of South India’s festive kitchens to Leander, TX — every piece made by hand in our restaurant kitchen from scratch.
Sweets (mithai)
Mysore Pak — melt-in-your-mouth gram flour fudge with ghee. Besan Ladoo — roasted chickpea flour rounds with cardamom. Kaju Katli — delicate cashew diamonds. Coconut Burfi — fresh coconut & jaggery set barfi. Gulab Jamun & Kavuni Arisi (black rice kheer).
Savories (snacks)
Murukku — spiral rice-flour crisps seasoned with sesame & cumin. Ribbon Pakoda — flat chickpea-flour ribbons. Omapodi — thin noodle-style sev with ajwain. Mixture — the classic South Indian assorted crunch. Fried Cashews — salted & spiced.
Freshness & gifting
All items are prepared to order in our kitchen the day before pickup — no pre-made stock. Boxes come gift-packaged and ready to give. Best consumed within 5 days; store at room temperature away from humidity.

At the time of ordering — payment is what confirms your order. We prepare only against paid orders so nothing goes to waste.

Saturday, October 18 at 12:00 noon at House of Chettinad, 15241 Ronald Reagan Blvd, STE 114, Leander, TX 78641. Give the name on your order.
Can I change or cancel?
Call us at (512) 900-8322 before Friday, Oct 17 at 11:59pm and we’ll take care of it.
What if I miss the Friday cutoff?
Pre-orders close Friday, October 17 at 11:59pm so the kitchen can prepare the exact batch needed. You’re still welcome for dine-in on Diwali day, Monday October 20.
Are the boxes nut-free or allergen-free?
